Ask your pharmacist for an over the counter cream.
There are some really deep moisturizing ones, that are non prescription, that are perfect for using on occation, if your hands get really dry.

If your hands are cracked, use an oil first. Otherwise the thick creams or lotions won't penetrate deep enough. My skin's extremely dry all over. But the below products make it feel and look like a baby's booty. I use oils a lot. Smooth them on wet skin and pat dry. Maybe try that every time you wash your hands or something?
