Don't buy Epson printers when it came time to replace the ink,I found they can't be refilled and it was cheaper to buy another printer than replace the ink. This strikes me as incredibly wasteful and enviromentally ridiculous. I am so sick of ink ripoffs!Suggestions anyone?

Buy another printer...a color laserjet...they be cheap now and the toner cartridges last longer than inkjet.
Or buy a Kodak...their cartridges are cheap

Epson make cartridges to refill your ink, they look like a Fat dumpy Hypo and you refill them from the Bottom, where the little mesh thing is for the ink to come out,you can refill them 3 times with these.

Epson are crud. Unless you use them nearly every day, they clog up and it's near impossible to clean the printer tubes.

Having said that, you can get compatible carts for nearly all Epsons, way cheaper than originals.

This is how these manufacturers think they can make money. Sell a printer cheap, and charge a fortune for refill carts - so strike back as the consumer and buy compatibles cheaper.
