ive got a theory but it might sound daft

a car ran over my foot well when i say ran over i mean this old lady hit me stopped on my foot got out of car to ask if i were ok then got in lifted the handbrake rolled forward off it then reversed over it again lol

but after the swelling went down nothing seemed out of place and i assumed that it would have healed if anything were broked by now as it happened about five years ago

Feet are really strange but marvelous things, even with breakages we can still carry on walking and running, feet tend to grow extra bones on site of injury because in the human make up the feet are the things that bring us food and wine etc. Its very possible to have an old fracture and never know about it. Feet are robust things. The best way to find out what is going on is to see a doctor and ask for x-ray. Sometimes its better to make do with what we have, even with extra bone growth than have it opened up and chiseled off, because the bone grows back.

You really need a proper opinion from a doctor, and take it from there.
