IMO there is nothing wrong with a good f*** buddy. I had the same one for many years, as long as neither one of us was in a relationship we would hook up when we went out. We also worked together and hung out with each other and our SO's if we had one (of course as far as they would know - it was a purly platonic friendship).
He moved away and I really miss him - his willy was wee too, but he was good at other things.

I say - go and have fun and if you end up friends with benefits - just make sure you're on the same page.
