When I was 14 I used be anorexic and bulimic and Id even use laxatives(thinking that it was the safer way when really its one of the most dangerous.) The reason why I used to have an eating disorder was because my mother called me fat because I was a size 3 and in her days when she was that age she said she was a 0. It hurt terribly and I think she meant it in a jokingly way but still meant it in a way so I turned to an eating disorder.

One day my mom and dad found out exactly what I was doing and noticed that my weight was just terribly low. And then I had to go to a therapist but Ive almost relapsed a couple of times. Its hard.

Well, I certainly hope she was joking. She'd have to crazy to of been serious. Hang in there with overcoming it. You can take it from most if not all of us that resembling a skeleton is extremely dangerous as well as unattractive. Maybe there are certain foods that can help you gain the weight back easier?

The only eating disorder I have is not having any food to eat. But what your goin through, am, not sure what to say now.

Hello I have a eating disorder and it is a over eating disorder and no I have never been bulimic but I have been very heavy almost half of my life and now I weigh myself today at frist I was at 310 pounds now Iam at 292 pounds I have lost 12 pounds but thire are 2 kinds of eating disorders one is what you said and the other is what I said now you are dangerously under weight and thire is help out thire for that my mom use to be like you and it almost cost her life so I will say a prayer for you and that you get the help and that you get well soon honey.

I wouldn't say I had an eating disorder, but I did skip meals quite a lot when I was younger. I used to be overweight and my grandma always called me fat and compared me to my sister who was thin as a rake, so I just didn't eat much. It came back to bite me though, I collapsed quite a lot from lack of food, not fun and very embarrassing when it happens at school.

I was bulemic for 3 years between the ages of 13 and 16. It look a long time to get over it and there are still times where I'm tempted to fall back into it.

I'm not a very confident person. I tend to never be happy with myself in anyway way shape or form, so it's hard to not just go back to it.

I guess you just have to be strong and realise that you're going to end up more unhealthy and it'll be harder to achieve what you want if you do it via an eating disorder, rather than if you do it with hard work and patience.

my ex gf had anorexia and bulimia and it was sooo hard seeing her go through that. i want to be a therapist when im a bit older and more wise i want to got to college and study counselling and soicioligy and i would truly love to help people with eating disorders.but at the moment im a bit done in for that. i am soo happy to see people that come out of it. showing ANA and MIA that we r not as weak as they might think. what do you think about all this pro ANA people and pro MIA?

I haven't been through one myself but I did watch my sister starve herself, if i'm honest she disgusted me and it hurt alot to think she thought so little of herself.

She didn't do it because of her weight though she did it out of depression and just wanting to disappear, she was on anti depressents for a long time, she also has manic behaviour.

She has serious health problems now which i'm sure is down to the eating disorder.
