LOL I do like some Pearl Jam songs...but cant listen to them for very long, one song every couple months is fine Cant really stand them.

Nirvana I like...and yea I liked their unplugged album the best...but to tell you the truth I'm not a big fan of early Nirvana...just the their last two albums I would say because they progressed so much from the first. In the beginning, because their style (i say grunge) was so new...it was like they were still trying to find their place...and I think they finally did once Grohl joined the band. Because not only did the drumming get better but he was back-up vocals...and Nirvana sounded so much better with Grohl. Plus Grohl is a really good drummer...I can totally tell apart his stuff from all the other Nirvana songs. In fact I think if Cobain hadn't died...the Nirvana style would have moved into what we know as Early Foo Fighters...but thats just me

FOO fighters......way better! Its like Grohl took the the latter Nirvana and let it loose in image wise, subject matter, and animated it in like Beatles style.

maybe i read to much into them.

I liked Bleach because it had a raw sound that was more in the Punk style. Nevermind and each album since then sounded too polished for Grunge.

Pearl jam hands down, one of best in the 90's who could forget such classic's as "alive" "black" or "jeremy"? great songs....

You're taking me back, Forum Thread...I genuinely miss that time in music. "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" while not exactly part of the "grunge" subgenre, changed my life, and bears the distinction of being the last good album the Pumpkins ever released before Billy Corgan really went off the edge and spiraled away into abject madness. A simpler time, a louder time...

Blind melon and Collective Soul I would argue.

Bush I'd be willing to put up there.
