Well usually its takes 5 to 6 weeks to wean them! Your neighbours may go by it a different way though. they may introduce food to them as some cases they can be weaned at 5 weeks straight or they may just leave them for the full 6weeks!

I love cats, brilliant animals. Penguins are the best, but it's a bit difficult to have a pet penguin.

Why does my dog eat paper?

Well some dogs things because they need to be sick like some dogs eat grass for the same reason. If this has been happening since you got your dog then he is just naughty, but if its recent maybe he has tummy ache? Dogs will eat things out of naughtyness but if this unusual behavior and he is off his food or anything like that then you should cinsult a vet! If he is not off his food then i would suggest that you keep a close eye on your companion!

well how can i get him to stop? he does it out of naughtiness.

Well the thing woth puppies and dogs is they chew things as a way of exploring and puppies more because of their teeth.
But chewing and eating things can mean they are bored also... so you could try and get it chew toys if he/she likes them?
Its important that you should dog proof your house though. Any thing they can climb on or reach should be free of things for them to eat and chew. Whatever you do dont cage your animal as some people suggest on websites as this is cruel. Just Make sure your dog isnt bored and has something to do whilst you are out and in the house! Paper seem to be the issue with you friend. so try and de-paper the house if the toy and dog proofing doesnt work let me know and i will get back to you as i have a few more things up my sleeve. But i think this may help

And also a toy i would consider is called a kong. It is a ball with holes in that you can put treats in. this will give your dog a couple of hours trying to get the things out, or a nyla bone, dogs love these
