I have somewhat. That's why I don't get too teary eyed over the plight of the American indian. Before white man came, they were carrying out genocide against other tribes. Torture, all out warfare and all the things we did to them, they were doing to other tribes.
We just did it better.

I'm distressed that people are defending or defining a term that is simply used to further divide the country into "us" and "them."

Why can't America just be comprised of millions of different individuals representing every ethnicity on earth, every political opinion on every topic, all disagreeing about something, working to create something great?
