Religion isn't the problem, it's how some people carry out their beliefs and jam it down other people's throats.

only peoples are guilty..no relegion teach us about violence every relegion teach good things..but only peoples are to be blammed for every thing...not religion...

I think having a religion, either can make a nation fearless (because they think they are supervised by their god) or fearful (because they think going to war is wrong).
So, it's really a matter of perspective, not religion.

But, like I've always said, I don't believe that anything can be absolute. (In this case absolutely wrong or absolutely right)
So a war can be justified if it's a defensive war.

I have read all of the comments above and have seen much of what is right about religion and what is wrong. Note though! it is not the religion which causes havoc. It is how it is interpreted by those who preach it!



And those who follow it. Which doesn't leave much.
