I'm thinking maybe a meatloaf. My dad has done one on the grill and he thought it was great. It was the first time he ever made meatloaf in his life. Me, I make a mean meatloaf in the kitchen. Yeah, TheFanatic gots some chops inside as well. So I was thinking my tried and true meatloaf would be money on the grill.

Any other ideas? Meatloaf just seems like comfort food to me. But I'm open to suggestions....

That's another option. If it gets two cold and windy, a steak would work pretty well with the short cooking time. But if not I can handle 40 minutes or so on the grill for a meatloaf or something else.

ETA, sorry, no deliveries. If you're in the neighborhood, feel free to stop on by. Bring a good red to split and I'll provide the meal!?!

While I love ribs, and I mean LOVE, LOVE, Love, LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE ribs, if it is cold and windy I will be fighting to keep the temp constant for many hours.

That and for me ribs never need sauce. Sure I sauce ribs all the time when I make them but that is for my guests. A solid bark blows away sauce any day.

I think I need to post the last big batch of ribs I did. Most were slathered up really well!!! Fall off the bone ribs...

I made the meatloaf on Sat. It was all of about 20 degrees. It was really good. Got some tweaking to do, but I always feel I have some tweaking to do. Too much of a perfectionist I guess. I'll post the pics in my grillin thread...
