You are aiming right for the centre of london and it is extortionate prices there.

If you want reasonable prices try places that are a couple of stops away on the train. There are a few holiday inns in greater london.

Best bet are the Premier Inn, or Travelodge, but don't expect a 5 star hotel rooms for the prices they charge. Also, they are likely to be booked, so first come first served to the cheapest prices

I would look for a Travelodge. They aren't very fancy but they are clean and reliable and sometimes as cheep as ?50 8)
