"A toddler lost in the Virginia woods was back home safe Sunday thanks to two puppies who kept him warm through a harrowing night of freezing temperatures.

Jaylynn Thorpe, 3, wandered away from his baby-sitter at 4 p.m. Friday and was missing for 21 hours as hundreds of friends, family and law enforcement officials searched for him in the thick woods of Halifax County, fearing the worst."

Reminds me of a story I read a couple weeks ago about some elderly woman who piled cats and roosters on top of herself to keep warm in the winter while her jerk daughter abandoned her or something.

Turkeys, not roosters. And there were some dead cats in the freezer!

Sorry to hijack the otherwise happy thread

Hey, couple of dogs in the woods... pile of cats and turkeys in a poop-filled bedroom. What's the difference? Yay warm animals!

The pupies story had me
so young to spend the night outdoors in the cold and how long before the sitter noticerd makes you wander.
But hes alive and well thats all that counts.
The daughter mother left in those conditions how the f... can you do this to your own mother.
