What type of gifts are you buying for Christmas this year? What are you hoping to get? Are you more into the religious aspect of the holiday or just enjoy the togetherness and gift exchanging part?
I used to make gifts from crafts. Do you enjoy making gifts or prefer to purchase them? I have a longer list of people to buy for this year, so I made some carepackages of things I found on sale on Thanksgiving day. Everyone could use mittens, house socks and slippers. I have small bags for acquaintances with a few trinkets in them, and for family I leaned more towards neccessities and snacks like decorated pop corn tins.

Rather than buying individual presents I love buying an animal from one of many charities that give them to needy families in the third world.

I think that is a sweet idea.

Last year I did a number of gifts in a bag. Ideas included:

New Years Eve Party in a Bag (noise makers, poppers, hats, etc.)

Foot spa in a bag: foot cream, pumice stone, etc.

Travelers Bag: night mask, blow up neck pillow, tylenol PM, etc.

And for my husband: Fishing in a Bag: license, lures, line, powerbait, etc.
