Ever heard of Apple Safari?

Safari was the first to use WebKit, which is based on KHTML, a technology used in the Linux browser, Konqueror.

In other words, it was faster than Firefox before it was Chrome.

I just think an advertisement for Google Chrome in Google Chrome is weird.

I also know that they can detect browsers.

It's not like they're going to go "Oh crap, he's talking about google chrome, but he already has it... LETS ADVERTISE FIREFOX MAN!!!"
