The time has come.... FINALLY!!!!

Be strong. Your story sounds all too familiar. I was attacked myself in March. Not of a sexual nature but the 4 thugs left my boyfriend in a critical condition.

I day my day in court last month. Horrible but very impowering. The best piece of advice I can give you is stick to your story. The defence lawyer will try and trip you up by mixing questions around. If you not sure ask them to repeat the question. If you need to buy to think aboout it, simply ask them to repeat the question.

Also speak up and clear. It's hard and it's going to hurt like hell but you must do it and do it with confidence. You have nothing to be ashamed of and you're not the one in the wrong.

Also look the jury in the eye. They will see you're not lieing. If/when the defence yell and carry on, you've done nothing wrong so stand your ground and DO NOT rise to them. That's what they want!

And the best piece of advise I can give is a simple answer: I do not agree with that.
The defence will thorw sinarios at you. Do not correct them! Simply say, I do not agree with that. It's trips them up big time!
