" To those top McCain advisers who leaked the little story about seeing Sarah Palin in a towel; to those who called her and her family "Wasilla hillbillies" while using her to stoke class warfare with red meat speeches and an anti-elitist message; to those who claim she didn't know Africa was a continent; to those McCain aides who say she is the reason they lost this election: Can I please remind you of one thing? You picked her.

You are the ones who supposedly vetted her, and then told the American people she was qualified for the job. You are the ones who, after meeting her a couple of times, told us she was ready to be just one heartbeat away from the presidency.

If even half of what you say now is true, then boy, did you try to sell the American people a bill of goods."

I don't think McCain is, directly.. but a lot of his staff, even senior people, have been.

McCain himself hasn't said he's blamed anyone but himself, this stuff about Palin is being leaked by campaign aids, who do apparently blame her.

That's pathetic.

If anyone is to blame for his loss, it's him.

I think he means that McCain is himself to blame due to the way he acted in the debates?

lol, I agree, but I think she played a role in it too. Although ultimately, he did choose her, so it comes back to him again. But once she was in there, I think she was the source of the most conflict, and all these leaks are the result of resentment from that.

It doesn't really make since to blame either Palin or McCain. The truth is, this was the election Republicans were supposed to loose. In the end, it probably didn't matter who the candadites were.
