I think Palin lied about not knowing about Africa. You wouldn't want the media finding out about a stowaway camel up your skirt!

I would say that she's stupid for not knowing that Africa was a continent, but then again I did GCSE Geography and passed quite well and I didn't know it was either.

While you are all salivating over Sarah's mistakes, Barack Obama was visiting all *57* states..................ah hahahahaha!

that might be funny if he ever at any point actually thought there were 57 states. It was a verbal slip, he said 47 in every version of that speech before and after that one.

I am not surprised she did not know Africa was a continent. Why does that surprise anyone. She made so many mistakes along the way, that I would be surprised otherwise lol

Didn't Joe Biden say that FDR was president during the Depression, and that he came on TVs to calm America's fear?

He was president during the great depression and he came on the radio to calm america's fear.

And saying TV instead of radio is a far cry from not knowing that africa is a freaking continent.

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed," Biden told Couric.

I think that makes him 0 for 2. The funny part is, had Palin said that they would have strung her up by her high heels. It's so commonplace for Biden to say something screwy, wrong, inappropriate, etc, that the press just blows it off.

Which is an even farther cry from a he said/she said conversation supported by an anonymous source. It's very possible she simply mispoke, like Biden's "FDR went on television" or Obama's "57 states."

Exactly. So why assume she said it if no 1 really knows for sure.
