Is Palin the future of the Republican Party?

Some in the news are saying the the far right conservatives are so excited about Sarah Palin because of her core conservative values that regardless of whether McCain wins or loses this election, Palin is being looked at as the leader of the future Republican party. This concerns me because there has generally been a trend of the right moving toward center, and Palin would move the party much more far right. Having Palin as a Republican leader would create a dramatic chasm between the parties, and there would be much more dramatic partisanship in politics. Not only that, but in my opinion, she has no standards of integrity when running campaigns, and that's about the opposite role model that the Republican party needs. Things are gonna get ugly.

That's good. I'm sick of the republicans acting like liberals. I don't get how they're still considered republican. It's time for someone to jump in and get the republicans thinking conservative again.

I would run for the hills. The should make Ron Paul leader then maybe the party will change for the better. Give a power hungry drama queen the power of a whole party... AHHHHHH....

I hope she is the future of them, because they'll destroy themselves if so.
