Sometimes a thread will have a lot of very large images that mess up the layout of the page making it difficult to read through the thread or makes the page take forever to load on slower connections, and there are a few members who like to attach images to the bottom of every post they make that I get tired of seeing. Could there be an option, like in your profile settings to automatically hide or collapse images in posts, and maybe a javascript button within posts with images if you'd like to see or "uncollapse" the image within that post?

I've seen other forums (mostly movie, tv show ones, etc.) that have the "Spoiler" thing. I kinda like that idea also.

Adblock plus is a solution if you choose. I'm pretty sure it's free, I use it on another site I go to. Blocks the images you don't want to see.

There are some car forums I am a part of that sizes all images to the same size and there is a blue border on it which means you can click it to open it full size in another window. It does not shrink them to thumbnails or anything, it makes them a little bigger then a 3x5 index card.

I'd rather not see them at all, and if I do want to see it, I can click on it to open it. I'm just tired of seeing pictures of b-movie characters in every thread, or having a thread take forever to load because the thread got derailed into a "lolcats" marathon or something.
