Well i've lost 60% ytd in my IRA....lame

its pretty bad in the uk with rising costs going through the roof and a government that earns too much out of us to care (hee hee!) - its difficult i know several people who have been made redundant.

Yeah things aren't looking great in the UK at the moment, though hopefully with the bailout things may start to get better within the future. How long that will take is anyone's guess. We haven't really been affected yet, but food prices have gone up a hell of a lot and my dad has just lost his job so I'm guessing it will affect us soon.

I think at this point of time, those who leverage up previously to buy assets are in a shaky position with rising interest rates and possiblity of unemployment.

A lot of countries are already in technical recession but if you have spare cash, it is a good time to invest.
