In ancient times it was normal for kings to be the first with another?s new bride.
Scripture says that God did the same.

Is He emulating man or did man decide to follow God?s example?

If you were an all powerful creator, would it not make more sense to create a woman as high on the pecking order as yourself or is it somehow better to use a lower species like humans to produce a son .

One of God?s main themes for morality is to not take another?s wife.
Is God breaking one of His own rules by practicing bestiality?

there are many oddities in thinking that Jesus is the son of God.

Simply stated.

Virgins cannot have children.
For a woman to reproduce she must have sperm.
How can Jesus be in the beginning before His mother was born?
If the kind Jesus was really God then He would not have used genocide to kill millions.
What was the trinity doing for 9 months. Did it become a twonity?

If any would like to take a shot at some answers here I would be receptive.

One last. If Jesus was half or whole man then is he a traitor to the human race for letting God and Himself use a genocide on man. I would say yes.

God as a male is actually a more modern invention.This hasn't been a matriarchal society for more than millennia. Most of history was written by men and so things like religion are also heavily based on the patriarchal social structure and way of thinking.

The Venus of Willendorf from a time when the Goddess was actually the norm. The Venus of Willendorf actually pre-dates the mythological figure of Venus by millenia.

The whole not taking another man's wife thing is just something from the patriarchal society's train of though.

This does not mean that all scripture is for the dust bin. It has value, as all Bibles have for thought. God is in there but not the loser of the Fundamentals. God is not a genocidal maniac regardless of what scripture says. God is real, just not that one.

If it was that important then I have to wonder why other writers of scripture changed some of His sayings. IE. Jesus said of marriage that what God has put together let no man etc.

No divorse in other words, Yet exceptions were included by others who added exceptions for adultary and others included if a wife was barren.
