U.S.Army or Marines

I can't really say because I'm in neither and neither is my family but what I do know is that the marines are considered tougher all around and have a better reputation (in combat). You might also stand a better chance of being posted abroad as a marine. They are used as the armed forces security dudes, think White house and embassies. But the training is tougher and I have no idea about differences in pay.

A lot of my friends joined the marines.. there's about 8 of them that joined.

however my fiance is in the army so Id have to say the army however the military is cutting down.. it seems like an odd time too; so when you get in try not to make any mistakes or not so smart choices.
