love is most simply put "a good feeling". you can't feel another person's love, it's just how you feel and are interpreting the situation. hope, most simply described, is belief that love or good feelings will come in the future. in turn, making you feel good.
love is good feelings.
evil is bad feelings.
psychologically, its easier, and more productive to stick with the basics. and since we're discussing human beings and their social atmosphere, psychology is the best way to determine what's going on in the country's head.
I'm surprised you've ever heard of a dictionary, given your penchant to define words however you like and complete disdain for actual dictionary definitions.
Love is not defined as "a good feeling."
If you define a term so broadly that the definition encompasses other words as well, your definition sucks and is invalid.
Saying "love is a good feeling, hope is a good feeling, therefore love is really just hope" is nothing more than intellectual bankrupt, illogical, invalid syllogism based on blatantly incorrect premises.
