Ronald Reagan Should drop dead twice!

I had a friend who hated Reagan. Said Reagan cost him his house. Turned out it was his fault, not Reagan's. I was living well during the Reagan years.

My grandmother had that problem too. Made things really rough as she got older.

This happened in the 80's, hmm whether right or wrong when it passed i would have started investing and/or saving to prepare for the day when i need it. It's called personal responsibility. Social Security is meant to supplement savings and other retirement investments. It's not meant to pay all your bills and keep all your worries away. No one owes you, or anyone else a thing, it's given or it's not. I'm responsible for myself and my family and any close friends i choose to, that's why i have a good chunk of money i put aside for when i retire. Bad planning is no one's fault except the person that did not plan.

Double Dipping needed to be stopped. Disability checks need to be stopped for many. I know too many on Government checks because they can't work because the are tired, they hurt, they cant think straight, but yet they can function well enough to take that check and go places all day.
I am 50 years old. I wake up and I hurt like hell, but I put my feet on the floor and b**** and gripe for an hour and make myself head for the front door and get in my car and work all day.
