I'm not usually a fan of musicals done for the big screen, but The Sound of Music is definitely an exception. Obviously it wouldn't be the same without the music, but if it was, it's still got a good story. On a side note I can remember a girl I once knew that seeing how she enjoyed that movie cinched me deciding I liked her. Good times.

The Sound of Music is quite possibly, in my opinion, the biggest pile of s*** going.

Oh, and The King and I... my mum made me watch it once, I will never forgive her. That is also a rather big pile of s*** too.

this is my favorite scene in the movie.

when i was 8 years old, i saw " the sound of music " , i really like it, the year before julie andrew in " mary popins " i love that movie, back then called the movie " mary popcorn ". when i was 9 years old, i saw " the singing nun " with debbie reynolds, i thought this movie better than " the sound of music ", i am not sure why ! today, i rarely watch " the sound of music ", i think it is kind of boring to watch.
