Go to a psychiatrist and have them see what you need and then give you a perscription.

panic attacks are easy enough to deal with, when the symptoms start coming on, focus on a breathing pattern, turn off any background news so as not to put you off, get a paper bag and breath into it, in and out etc untill you feel yourself begin to cool down. In the mean time sit with your head between your knees (the stance you do to prevent fainting) you should calm down afte a while or so!

As for anxiety, with the panic attacks as well I'd go as far as to say some form of depression? I would recommend you speak to your doctor about it!

Well I'm on a low dose of Clonapin for the attacks, and zoloft for depression, which is also supposed to help with the attacks.
This helps tremendously for me...also, breathing exercises are supposed to help.
Breath in deeply through your nose, hold for a second or two, then let out sloooowly through your mouth.
Repeat enough times until you feel yourself begin to calm down.

magnesium supplements are supposed to help with anxiety
sometimes. It depends on if the cause is psychological or
chemical though.

or in small spaces or something.

Some can be managed on your own and some need professional assistance.

No harm in getting your attacks assessed by your Doctor to find out what group you fall into. It can come from outer stress' or a chemical imbalance in your brain or both, they are treatable with either medications or counseling or both.

I am not a Doctor, nor claim to be.

In my opinion, see your Doctor and discuss your symptoms and the length and severity of your attacks and if you know, what is triggering them off.

Yes I do. I just try and distract myself or just concentrate on one thing really hard. Doesn't always work tho.

Oh God yes! I've struggled with it since I was in my early 20's. You must see a doc....there are many meds that will help you! Don't wait for it to just go away....it's usually caused by something that happened in your life. I lived with a biker for many years....abuse, drugs and then he took me out of the province against my will. That did it for me!!! Make an appt right away! Good luck
