Another school shooting

I hope my Krav Maga training will be able to save my life if I ever get into that situation.

This scares me so much, my daughter leaves for college a week from tomorrow. It's hard enough to let them go at 18 yrs old, but to worry about crap like this too. My prayers go out to the family.

My daughter left last week and she just turned 17 . I've been a mess since the day she left.

Why do you suppose this has been happening over the last 20 years?
It never happened when I was in school.
I can't remember a single incident.

We just weren't interested in shooting people.
There were plenty of guns.
There were no school shootings
We were kids and just did what kids do, which was, -go play and have fun.

What's the problem?

I don't know why it happens but you're right. I think the worse thing that happened in my high school was one guy pulled a pocket knife on another guy. I think they both got expelled for a week and that was that.

worst thing happened at my school (apart from what happened to me) is some boy cum in a girls face while she was sleeping. This is why my kids are home schooled

That is exactly my question... Why are there so many school shootings - especially in America? It hardly ever happens here in Aus - I think we have had one shooting at a uni, and that's about it. How can so many young people think that killing people, often at random, is the answer to their problems? I just don't understand it at all... I feel sorry for that poor kids family You should be able to send your children to school without worrying about whether they will make it through the day alive...

I got so much crap when I first took my kids out of public school and started homeschooling them. I could not be happier that I did this. I would be on pins and needles now knowing what goes on in the school sysytem.

At 8:11 am this morning he pulled the gun from his back pack and shot the boy dead. Reports say he casually walked away like it was no big deal and was arrested just six minutes later. The boys had been in a fight earlier that morning on the school bus.
