OK yeah, little things like that may bug me a bit, but what's the point in making an issue of it?

To make the person feel bad? To feel clever?

Might as well just move on from it. It's readable, and like I said, to me that is what matters.

Well, that was to give him a hard time more than actually correct him, but you're right. It's really annoying to read a three page "lolcat" style post.

f*** you, its not hard to use microsoft word, it has a spell checker.

and you know how much longer it takes to read stuff like this is?

"u no u can do dis a betre way"

any time saved written is lost 10 fold by the many people who have to read it.

abreviations and lots of spelling errors are abusive to the people who have ot read them

What's with all the aggresion? Is there any need?

I thought that the 'official' position, here on TFS, was that spelling errors and typos were to be condoned....(for whatever reason...). If I notice that I have made such an error, I'll go back and fix it.
If there is a segment of the population that feels it is acceptable to fly in the face of literary convention, then those people should not be alarmed to find that they may be branded as being illiterate, or lazy, or both. Because such labeling is not acceptable behavior here on TFS, it is recommended that one simply laugh at these faux-pas of the the keyboard,... After all, sometimes the 'errors' can lead to mis-understandings, and there is always great entertainment value to be had by interpreting things in a way that was, or is, contrary to the writers intent.

Yup, no need to be rude, everyone make mistakes so long as it makes some sort of sense!

If you hate abbreviations try going to an IT academy, most of what you learn is abbreviations lol.

I find the people at work who email using that crappy text/internet language and then get upset when I complain are the same people who email me when they're writing an official report because they don't know the difference between "they're, there, their" etc and don't want to look stupid. If they paid more attention they'd know already....

Still, not really worth getting upset about a misplaced comma or apostrophe on an internet forum I suppose
