well, who allowed that to happen? who elected these left wingers? or are they self appointed? once the ball starts rolling for leftist, it is hard to stop them unless the majority of the population are traditionalists.

SNp is the future of scotland...

I hope not, I certainly don't want to live in a country were I'm not allowed to buy alcohol in shops, only in clubs and bars.

The SNP is certainly NOT left wing, but the people of Scotland are.

Scotland has been a Labour country from the Second world war until last year, just so happens that when Scotland stopped being labour was when the Labour party started becoming right wing.

The SNP are the political party who claim to be left wing but are not.

id like to hear your ideas on what a right wing party is then. i dont see a problem with being nationalistic, with the EU arseholes knocking on our door i think traditions and pride are exactly what we need (scotland, england and wales) before were swamped with boring politically correct rules and become the dumping ground for immigrants and scumbags the world over. if the SNP do get in im changing my nationality and moving to scotland so i can stay bloody proud rather than risk being called a xenophobic racist off my own country men think back to britain in the 90s. it was cool brittania time and i dont remember any problems being called wrong for taking pride in my own country.

Whether you support the SNP or not is irrelevant, it depends as to whether you think these policies and ideas are stupid or not.

For example if your a Democrat your not going to support a Dem policy, just because its them who made it. Similarly if the Republicans came up with something you agreed with you wouldn't go 'Oh, I'm a Democrat, can't support something the Republicans came up with'.

You really don't know American politics do you? We have become so partisan that if one group said "Water is good for you" the other side would protest and file a law suite.
