I just need to mention this. To as many people as possible.

Lorrie Moore is a modern writing genius. Her short stories in "Birds of America" are wonderful, and I just read her novel "Anagrams."

Two words: Mind blowing. She's so quick! It took me awhile to process everything she writes because there's so much depth. Amazing amazing.

I do like to read, but I haven't read anything by her. I may have to 'check her out'.
