Long Distance Relationship

My boyfriend is away at the Airforce.. He just left and I don't know if I can handle the distance Relationship thing. I care alot about him. What should I do?

Welcome to TFS! That is hard to deal with. It would have been nice to have talked a little about it before he left. Will you be able to talk to him while hes away?

I get to talk to him but only through letters at this point. He comes home next on thanksgiving. I'm kind of going crazy here.

WEll you have to decide for yourself if you can indeed handle this absence. If you can ,good if not then you need to be honest with him and let him know that you can't do it. If you don't think you can be faithful to him you need to let him know that. You're still young and it's not going to be easy. If you love him enough though and the two of you are meant to be together you can do this.

The best advice that I can give you is to work on gettig to know yourself before you make any decisions.

Distance is definitely tough on a relationship. It can work though if both people are completely committed and can deal with it.

If you love him you will handle it. You may not like it, but you will handle it.
If for other reasons you don't feel you can handle it, it's best to get it out now, be honest with him.
That's the least you can do.
