i know what you mean same happens to me but i think you just have to try mate i did'nt and i feel realy bad to let someone you care about someone you want to be with just walk out of your life for good ask her do not make the same mistake as me

It's called being nervous. It happens. Which is a good thing because it means some trait she has that other girls don't is standing out.

I had a really sweet guy ask me out once, but didn't really ask because he was too shy. Instead He gave me a balloon that said "pop me!" on it.

I popped the balloon and all these little pieces of numbered papers fell out. When I put them together they read, "Can I take you out for ice cream and a movie? Yes, I am asking you on a date."

I think you have put way too much thought into this and that's why you're so nervous. I mean, at this point, you've written her a song, imagined all sorts of conversations I'm sure. I mean, how can reality live up to all that now? You need to just back up a bit, and just start with "Hi." If it goes well, maybe then start thinking about the song, lol.

Could you be scare of rejection? Is she kind of out of your league or something? If things had happened differently with my husband and I , I would have never had the guts to ask him out . He's hot , sexy , intelligent and I just figured he's out of my league. I would have never pictured us together.

Just get your nerve up and kind of nudge yourself into this.

I am with the above gentleman and ladies, ask her to go for a drink. Do you know her from somewhere? If so start a conversation about something you think she's interested in, ummm, perhaps not fish, oh god I've got the strangest things now going round me head now!

Yeah, talking helps, perhaps with a phycastrist for the fish people, eeeeeew! Find common ground that is important most of all have fun, dont take it too seriously or you'll scare her. Almost as scared as I am!
