Vista computer came with internet explorer 7 already installed.

by accident, I have uninstalled it!

when I go to download it, it says 'vista has internet exporer 7'

any idea how I can down download it?

Try saving the program to a folder ...rather than running it . Try this link

Do you have the Vista Installation Disk? Or was the OS pre-installed on your computer?

The only mistake you made was to not delete the rest of vista....get rid of that rubbish and get something else...ubuntu....buy a mac....anything will serve you better in the long run than microsoft's crappy underperforming spyware.

no disc, everything was already installed, think I am going to have to call my pc man and have him do it, but don't feel like paying 50.00 an hour right now.

the new Heward Packard Vista is awesome, why would I throw out a brand new system? ...it was my fault that I deleted the program.

won't cost much to have my pc guy download it.

Read what they say, and decide... I'm not a Vista expert, but these guys make a lot of sense to me.... Get someone else's opinion on this, too, before you try anything.

both vista and internet explorer are truely terrible in my oppinion juust use firefox or opera or somethin

Hewlit Packard has a recovery partition that you can restore your system to factory defaults.... If I recall correctly when you use the PC restore function you loose all your data and settings. The first thing one should do if you buy a PC that has no installation media for the operation system is to create such a disk ... for Vista you will need a dvd disk.

vista is the new make, like windows used to be, has nothing to do with the internet or firefox.

internet explorer is a crap browser its slow and laggy , get firefox if you want it to be more efficient and faster
and by the way its windows vista, windows hasn't vanished microsoft windows XP is the BEST operating system

I thought I had done the same thing with my XP Pro but I managed to reactivate my IE7 from program files {these are hidden files}. If you can't navigate to them then use the search function on advance search that includes hidden files and right click on the folder and click "Run as".
