What you have been confronted with, here, in this thread, are the individual interpretations of what it means to be patriotic. But those definitions, while allowing you to know what another feels, can be totally irrelevant to your own feelings.

I love my country. I thank God I was born here. I wouldn't want to be any where els. I think our government sucks, and I am thankful to those who came before me that insured my right to say so.
