i really really want one!!! i cant wait to get one but i need a big backyard. they do have a problem with their stomach turning so be careful of that and make sure they get lots and lots of exercise

one of my coworkers had one and he said they have a problem with their stomachs turning. there is also something else very common with great danes, im not sure what its called, but i would ask your vet about it.


how much did your great dane cost? i'm going to get one, just not sure when

hi there I havnt got a great dane but my daughter-in-law hs got one and her advice is

Do not let the pup be too energetic after him/her eating

try to stick to the same food

whilst a puppy do not over excercise and only 20mins at a time

and for the first two years do not allow to climb stairs

as their bones are very fragile

when being excercised as a puppy try and keep to the grass as their pads are delicate Hope you dont mind me posting this but my daughter-in-law was really serious about these rules take care and good luck
