Iz alright.

A false dichotomy occurs when you're given two options as the only two options, while in reality, there are other options.

Example: "Give me your money, or I'll kill you."

Well, that's a false dichotomy. I could alternatively try to run away, kick you in the shin, quote Shakespeare, etc.

(And what's up with the server running so slow today? Someone need a reboot?)

Feeling's mutual bro'.

Hmm...everything's a false dichotomy...Surely not?

Let me think on that...

Thinking...

Aha! Here we go:

When I wake up in the morning, I can choose to spend the day inside, or go outside. There isn't a third choice, thus it's a true dichotomy.

There, thought of something. :D

where would you be if you died.

Shouldn't you say
I can choose to spend the day EITHER inside, OR outside

not that I am being picky.

there is one in that section. I accidentally created this one under the wrong topic. I had no way to delete, move, or merge this thread with the proper one which i created under politics at the request of panetti.

its nice to see you back.
