How much credit do you give the justice system?

hopefully they are gonna catch the guy. he deserves it. but alot of the time cases like that go cold. you always see the ones where the killer or w/e gets caught on tv shows and stuff. but im pretty sure only around 70 percent actually get caught. i saw that statistic somewhere, not just pullin it out of my ass. as far as how much credit do i give the justice system though? not very much. too many times "trust the system, it works" is used. and too many times it doesnt. i guess optimism is out best bet.

Ehhh...it depends...most of the time, very little credit indeed. When it comes to packing inmates into prison like sardines and letting murders and pedophiles out early to alleviate the overpopulation caused by locking up junkies and addicts that are ill, I get perturbed.

I think it's a greater crime to lock up a pot head and let a murderer out, than to keep the murderer and make the pot head do community service or something to keep them out of the system.
