I've dated and had long relationships with not so attractive guys (I am a girl) I tend to see the person and not so much what they look like.

There are different types of attraction. Intellectual, physical, and emotional and theoretically, you only need 2 out of 3 to have a good relationship. Now, we all WANT all 3 types of attraction, but we don't necessarily need them all in order to flourish.
