The bible says he sent his son to save humanity. According to the bible god might have scraped humanity and started over but jesus offered to go to earth and live a perfect life and give it up willingly. Since man was perfect when he sined only another perfect life could wipe out the origional sin. Thats why were saposed to excuse our sins in jesus's name.

If the bible is correct it's god actions that allow all of us currently alive to exists. I don't know about you but reguardless of who died in the past I am greatfull for my own existance and therefore greatfull to god and what hes done so far if the bible is indeed true.
