If you copy and paste after you hit a certain number of points it's fine. But if it was your first post ever on TFS then I don't know why the filter allowed it.

There is probably nothing wrong with your posts. The points system is not entirely dependent on the length of your post, though longer posts
tend to receive more points. It's random, and usually the less you pay attention to how many points you're getting the more quickly they come.
As for what they do, once you're past the beginning stages, 2000 points will get you an image in your signature. I think 3000 will remove the caps lock block. That's about it for now.
Oh and the baboon picture is just one of the "subliminal" messages that show up after you post. It has nothing to do with points and is just done for fun
