"in general you should wait a week, but you should use your discretion. if your hair is pretty much destroyed you should completely avoid chemical processes. it just depends on how much you think your hair can handle. always do a strand test to make sure too, just in case."

"this is why you always need to do a strand test before you dye all of your hair. every time you need to bleach it back you do a lot of damage, so you need to be careful with the colors you choose. i would say the best thing to do right now is to use a veggie violet toner. this will condition your damaged hair, and the violet will cancel out the yellow from having bleached hair, so you will end up with a soft natural white/platinum blond. i hope this helps!"

Sounds like you should be OK dying it, just do a strand test to make sure it's going to look how you want.

Same, but I find my roots gross to look at I haven't dyed it in ages though actually

Haha samee, having naturally light brown hair and peroxide dyed hair the roots look awful when they come through!
Blacky brown is so much easier to manage!

Thanks. What should I wait a week from, since I last dyed it?
Veggie violet toner? Never heard of it, I could imagine it to be quite hard to get hold of.

Kudoss!

I don't know. I'm a Googler, not a hair styler

I get the feeling that it's best if you wait a couple of weeks since your last chemical treatment. Take a few strands of your hair and dye them with the stuff you have. If it looks OK, put it on your hair. If it doesn't, let us know and we'll try to figure out why

Haha okaay.
Well it's been a few weeks since I last dyed my hair.
And won't it look abit weird, if I have like [hopefully] one black streak in my hair..

Don't do it to strands that are on your head

Pull out 2-3 strands of hair and *then* dye them.

Well my hair was a very dark brown and I wanted to go blonde. I went to my stylist and she recommended doing it gradually so im just getting all over highlights each time. I'd suggest going maybe a shade or two darker every 3 months or so. It should keep damage to your hair minimal.

Go to a good hairdressers for hair assessment.
Then depending on how good your hair is you could,
a)grow the colour out
b)have streaks of brown put in
c)re dye your hair using an organic dye as its kinder to your hair - but you would still need to do a strand test first, to see how it would take.
Good luck
