If we fought the second world war like we fight now, everyone in the U.S. & U.K. would be speaking German & saluting a Swastika.

That was a completely different kind of war to any thats being fought now.

Nazism or National Socialism is not that much different in what we are fighting aganist now.

The Nazis used conventional warfare

The Talaban and all those insurgents in like Iraq use guerilla warfare

There's a huge difference between those forms of warfare, in fact they're almost polar opposites

I agree, but their outcome is the same. Doesn't matter how they get there!

Their outcome may be the same but they are still completely different kinds of war which was the original point.

You need to try to keep up w/ the changing conversation. IMO!

Really? here has only been 3 posts since my last and they all seem to be talking about this war being different or the same as past wars.
