I can assure you, these cough sweets are definitly no-ones friend!

They look like red blood cells, and smell of fire

And they taste so digusting!!!

I know how bad they taste so you have my sympathy, and for the sore throat too. I don't get so many nowadays but they used to be the bane of my life.
