Do you think you would carry on with your current career?

Or even for us younger people, would you even bother getting a job or a career?

This is assuming the money would cover your living costs and a bit more for your whole life.

I would buy that 85ft sailing yacht and follow the summer around the world. Probably stopping off now and then to watch some test cricket.

One thing about having/winning a lot of money is that having that fortune in the first instance opens your opportunities up, therefore meaning you will spend it and soon need more.

One single amount isn't necessarily enough to ensure comfort and wealth for the rest of your life.

I would speak to someone knowledgeable and that I trusted implicitly about investing at least half of it regardless of the amount. It would have to be something I personally take an interest in so that I could be involved with it, therefore becoming my 'career'.

Yeah, I think I'd definitely stick it in the bank and not touch it, and live off the interest I got.

I've always said that I want to find a career that I would enjoy doing even if I didn't *need* the money to support myself, so I guess that kind of answers your question

I'd buy a better place right on the beach that I could use all year round. Then walk and write, not at the same time if you know what I mean.
