Has anyone here had out of body experiences or sleep paralysis? If you would you like to elaborate?

Just curious....

it wasn't long after my aunty had died last year, and i was having really disturbed sleep. i woke up in the middle of the night once, and i couldn't move my arms or legs. they felt really heavy, as though someone was sat on them. it wore off after a couple of mins and i was ok, but i was scared at the time. it hasnt happened since.

I used to get it a lot when I was like, 15, and it wore off when I was 16. But it was pretty crazy sometimes..
I'd see some crazy as stuff, like little kids crying in my room, crazy old women, and just big black shadows that sat on me.
I've been reading around and apparently that's all pretty common in sleep paralysis, So I'm not too worried.

Had it recently, I was in class, almost asleep, and then suddenly I couldn't move. I guess I must have nodded off at some point. Only lasted a couple of minutes.

ive used to get it frequently at about 15, and it was mainly big black things that were trying to get me when i was in bed, that and family members would talk to me.

I had a dream once where I felt like I was awake and it was as though I was paralysed. I could see everything in my room, it lasted about 5 minutes and really freaked me out

from a paranormal investigators point of view i find both OBE and sleep paralysis interesting sibjects. both are very differnt in nature yet equally as interesting and fascinating. with an OBE there has been reproted cases of people knowing and seeing things that they just would not be able to see had they not left their body. with sleep paralysis it is a bit harder to study. could it be the brain that has woken but the body is trying to catch up cos its a bit slower or could it be something else that has caused the paralysis?
either way i would love to be able to study them further

I used to get it at least twice a week when I was a kid, but it was more halfway between sleep paralysis and sleep walking.

Not fun
