I would think about getting one, but i dont like the fact you can only go with 02, and its a contract

Thats the thing that bothers me. I dont like o2 as a network. I wouldnt be happy going to them.

I'm happy with an iPod and a mobile phone myself.
Although, I really would love an iPod Touch, which is basically an iPhone without the phone/net/email bit.

Still not enough storage space for me, I'd be more comfortable with an iPod Classic.
My sister just brought herself one of them. $550. 160GB.
It's mental.
She barely fills her 2GB nano...

I might get the iphone 2, the one that comes on orange and has 3g and video calling. Till then i'll stick with my windows mobile based pda/phone. Which btw can play music as well as any ipod if i bothered to use that feature.

what I don;t get is why anyone wants a touch screen. Yeah I know they are new and hitech but they are a pain in the a** to use! and I'm not certain they wont break and are hard to orientate.

Actually my phone is touch screen and is suprisingly easy to use. I had a shot of the iphone and thought it was even easier than my phone but using the net on a phone without 3g is like going back to dial up. Apparently this was taken out to increase battery life.
