I have now been waiting 9 days to get a land line connected to my new flat!

The saga started last Monday, i phoned up and was told that i could get a phone line connected within 48 hours, as no engineer was required.

Contract and direct debit details arrived in Tuesdays mail.

I waited until Wednesday evening, no phone. I phoned up on Thursday, was informed that someone from customer services would phone within 24 hours to disscuss, then they hung up!

Got a phone call on Friday saying that they were looking into it and that i should be connected on Monday and that I should phone back on Monday night to activate my service

No phone on Monday night when i got in from work, phoned up Virgin and was told that an engineer was due to visit my property to do an inspection on Tuesday. (This had been scheduled five days ago!) I was assured that i would have a phone line on Tuesday night.

Got home last night and guess what? NO PHONE ! Called up Virgin, the person i talked tyo in customer services coudnt "help me" and they were "experiencing high call volumes so couldnt transfer me to someone who could help", starting to smell major bull s***. I was assured that someone would call back last night... I m still waiting for that call

Note - Every time i call virgin i have to do it from my mobile. The activation number that i have to call charges my mobile at premium rate! I am usually on the call for 20 minutes !!!
