My hair is driving me insane.

It's been cut in the same style for about 2 years and I'm sick of it, the only problem is I can't afford to get it cut, nor do I have any idea what I could possibly change about my hairstyle

I change the colour a lot and that's about it

I really want to change the style of it, but I don't think having short hair will suit me.

I straighten it but I don't like it that way because it goes all flat against my face and my face is kinda too round for that

I want to try a fringe again of some sort but I don't want to look like an "emo kid"

It's become so annoying and I don't know what to do, I'm not really looking for help as such (although it wouldn't go amiss to be honest ) I just wanted to vent my frustration.

When I was in my mid teens I had a punk hairdo but after a few years it got into a terrible mess, so I had a very short hair cut, no hair on my head was longer than 2 mm, I am now 23 and I have loverly long dark brown hair.
Very short hair is very comfortable and can be very beautiful if it's done the right way. But think carefully before you get it cut, I did and I never regretted it.

If you have a ound face, you are going to have to be really careful about the style of fringe you have. People with round faces tend to look rounder when they have fringers, because a fringe frames your face.

Look at layers, feathering and perhaps thinning some of the underneath. You want something a bit modern, choppy, easy to style and different. i would suggest lots of layers round the back, a little longer in the front. very textured. accentuated with some different high/low lights
