- the song lyrics " where they'll cut of your ears if they don't like your face, it's barbaric but hey, it's home!".

- Aladdin,Jasmine ( good characters) have european features while Jafar and other evil villains have thick accents, darker skin, twisted noses, etc.)

Try real villains. The one's that turn out to be OK joes later in the stories don't really count.

I am sure that I am off topic here, but....

The story comes from "One Thousand and One Nights" (that "Arabian" part was added later), about at Persian King and his Persian wife.

The Aladdin story was about Aladdin who was "...an impoverished young ne'er-do-well in a Chinese town..."

Not sure if he was supposed to be Chinese or Persian...?

So, if anything, it would have to be racism against Persians not Arabs.

Aladdin & Jasmine: To me they appear to be Iranian... i.e. Persian.

Yes, the original story was supposed to be in China. The problem is it's China as told by Arabian story tellers who've never even seen a Chinese person, let alone been there. As such, it's laughably inacurate. That's why modern tellers usually ignore that and just place it in the Middle East somewhere.

Snow White - plans on killing the heroine because she's prettier. Dies without redemtion
Sleeping Beauty - tries to kill the heroine. Dies without redemption.
Cinderella - is cruel to the heroine because...I'm not sure she had a reason. No redemption in the end
Beauty and the Beast - wants to marry the heroine because she's pretty and is jelous of the hero because she likes the hero. Dies without any redemption
The Little Mermaid - wants to take over Atlantis. Dies without any redemption
Aladdin - Wants to take over Agrabah. Gets turned into a genie and locked away for thousands of years (or, until the sequels) without any redemption
Mulan - Wants to conquer China. Dies without any redemption
Pocahontas - wants to get all the gold Virginia doesn't have. Loses the loyalty of his men and is shipped back to England without any redemption
Princess and the Frog - is planning on giving all the souls in New Orleans to his "friends on the other side". Is taken by them without any redemption.

That doesn't look like they're a decent bunch to me. Who do you have in mind?
