Sisters boyfriend cheating.

I just got a call from a friend telling me that my sister, Anya's, boyfriend has been cheating on her.
It's weird that one of the girls he was cheating with was his ex girlfriend, and the other girl was one he was cheating with while we went out with that ex!

So he's already got a pretty bad record...
And I recently found out he's been taking drugs.
So what do I do? I like my sister, and I don't want to see her heartbroken, but it's going to happen...

So what do I do? Either I could go to her, or go to my parents...I don't know how to go about telling her about him.

I think in a situation like this just come out with it too your sister, no kid gloves.
I know you don't want to hurt her, but you'd be hurting her a million times more knowing what he is about, and not saying anything to her; letting her believe him to care for her when he does not.

Well she has to find out sooner or later, and it might be worst if she's led on more, but she does need to know. As for who breaks it to her, that's a tough one.

I agree, tell her... she maybe mad at first, but she will thank you for it later

I think you need to tell her. If she finds out some other way and then discovers that you already knew could backfire on you

if you are any kind of a REAL brother, you would tell her immediately! the guy sounds like a scum!

She turned 16 end of august.

What I would do is talk to my sister and ask her how she thinks the relationship is going? and tell her to be honest. Mention to her that he has a reputation and ask if she's aware of that. If not mention to her that you've heard a rumour, explain to her that you really don't want to see her upset but say that you've heard a rumour that he's cheating.

If she has known that he has a reputation mention it to her outright,it is a tricky one, though you're not really going to get it over to her without upsetting her, so i think mentioning it to her outright if she knows he has a reputation or being gentle when she hasn't known about it.

This past hour in a nutshell:
Well I told her.
She was real upset .
Called her boyfriend.
He denied it, and said that Hayley (one of the girls he was with) didn't know a thing about it.
Which my sister believed.
So I txted Hayley, got her to call me.
My sister overheard the conversation, took the phone, and now they're talking.

whats the update ?

just be there for her as im sure you will,she is still so young and it is best for her to have found out sooner rather than later..

Ooooo toughie. Its a bad case of if she finds out and then discovers you knew all along, or, shoot the messenger. I really dont envy your position.

You have to tell her. I dont know how she will react, she could think you are s*** stirring, trying to cause trouble, or she may take what you have said on board and dump his sorry a**

Well I dunno. She's really upset right now I think.
I'm just giving her some space. I'll ask her about it tomorrow I think.
I'm not sure if they've broken up yet...but he's still denying it.
Even though she has been talking to Hayley and everything...

You did the right thing sweetie. I know its hard. Me and my younger sister never used to get on, and she was going out with this guy who was a total d***. I kept telling her he was an arse and she wasnt having any of it. I found out he had cheated.

She accused me of making it up to split them up etc. But when she calmed down and realised how he had been, and been acting etc she apologised.

Leave her be for a while and just ask if shes ok tomorrow
